Ann Hamilton is internationally recognized for her large-scale multimedia installations. Using time as process and material, her methods of making serve as an invocation of place, collective voice, communities past and of labor present. Among her many honors, Hamilton has been the recipient of the National Medal for the Arts, the MacArthur Fellowship, United States Artists Fellowship, NEA Visual Arts Fellowship, and the Guggenheim Memorial Fellowship. Hamilton represented the United States in the 1999 Venice Biennale, and has exhibited extensively around the world including a museum-wide installation at the Henry Art Gallery (Seattle, WA) in 2015 and 1992. Her work is included in the collections of the Cincinnati Art Museum (Cincinnati, OH), Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden (Washington, DC), Los Angeles County Museum of Art (Los Angeles, CA) and the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York, NY), among many others.

Sean Healy’s work explores issues of ‘maleness’ and masculinity, accompanied by an ever present sense of irony. In addition to his one-person exhibitions at the Elizabeth Leach Gallery, Healy has also exhibited at the Betty Moody Gallery (Houston, TX) and Marylhurst University (Marylhurst, OR). He has received several important public commissions, including the Wayne L. Morse Courthouse (Eugene, OR), Pioneer Place (Portland, OR), the General Services Administration Headquarters (Eugene, OR), and the FBI Headquarters (Houston, TX). The Elizabeth Leach Gallery has represented Healy since 1999, and in 2006 published a comprehensive catalogue on his work featuring an essay by Stephanie Snyder, curator of the Cooley Gallery at Reed College, Portland, Oregon.

Malia Jensen uses the juxtaposition of raw and seductive materials, metaphor and a dark sense of humor to examine quintessentially human traits, such as desire, greed, lust, and a need to reveal the humor, brutality and beauty of our daily lives. Jensen received her BFA from the Pacific Northwest College of Art in 1989. Her work has been exhibited in many institutions including PICA (Portland, OR), the Melbourne International Arts Festival (Melbourne, Australia), The New Museum (New York, NY). In 1991, 1998 and 2016 she was featured in the Oregon Biennial, and In 2002 Jensen received a Bonnie Bronson Fellowship.

Isaac Layman pushes the limits of how a photographic image can be constructed while using his immediate domestic surroundings as subject matter. Layman has exhibited at the Walker Art Center (Minneapolis, MN), deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum (Lincoln, MA), Frye Art Museum (Seattle, WA), Blanton Museum of Art (Austin, TX) and Norton Museum of Art (West Palm Beach, FL), among others. He was awarded the Betty Bowen Award from the Seattle Art Museum and the Contemporary Northwest Art Award from the Portland Art Museum. His work is in many collections including the Walker Art Center (Minneapolis, MN), the Margulies Collection at the Warehouse (Miami, FL), Portland Art Museum (Portland, OR), the Museum of Fine Arts Houston (Houston, TX), and the Minneapolis Institute of Arts (Minneapolis, MN).

Julia Mangold is a Munich-born minimalist sculptor whose work explores shape, form and materiality. Her sculpture and works on paper are at once rigorous and formal, yet also very sensual. Mangold has exhibited nationally and internationally and her work is included in the collections of the Busch-Reisinger Museum, Harvard University (Cambridge, MA), Yale University Art Museum (New Haven, CT), Museum of Fine Arts Houston (Houston, TX), the Museum of Modern Art (New York, NY) and the Deutscher Bundestag (Berlin, Germany). In 2015, Mangold was the subject of a solo exhibition at the Mies van der Rohe Haus in Berlin, Germany.
