MK Guth
From the Colour of Its Bloom: Camas Prairie

July 10 - September 10, 2020

In late June 2020, gallery artist MK Guth lead an interactive project in which participants created flags inspired by the colors, mood and atmosphere of the Camas Prairie located in Southern Idaho. Each flag was painted using pigments from the natural elements found in the area. A selection of the completed flags now hang outside the Sun Valley Museum of Art (Ketchum, ID) as part of the group exhibition titled From the Colour of Its Bloom: Camas Prairie. The exhibition features new artwork by Derek No-Sun Brown, Daniel Gordon, MK Guth, Anthony Hernandez and Sopheap Pich, and an essay by Judith Freeman.
